Chilli Chic is a little luxury, a summery indulgence that will definitely sweeten and perk up your life. It has been designed to make you feel as if you were always on holiday, because you certainly need a chic yet playful take on travel to feel better and be noticed!
You will soon realise it is not just a brand name. There is a whole world of passion and joie de vivre behind that little red chilli inspired by the Mediterranean lifestyle. What could best express my Italian origins after all?
Chilli Chic was born on a rainy June Sunday. I could hear each drop incessantly ticking on the windowpane…That’s so romantic on a winter day, cuddled in your sweetheart’s arms in front of a crackling fireplace, enjoying a never-ending hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows (the whole picture wouldn’t be the same without it, would it?), but not when the sun is supposed to be shining! By that time all the people I knew were on some white sandy beach around the world sunbathing and swimming in a turquoise sea. In a few words they were enjoying those simple happy things that make life worth living. Right in that moment I felt the need to create something conveying the same emotions. It’s when I came out with the whole chilli concept. I thought I could share it with you after all, if it worked for me why wouldn’t it work for you too?
Chilli Chic encloses the bliss and anticipation of counting the days down to your new destination, when packing your holiday essentials: sunscreen, flip flops, sarong, bikinis (many, because they are never enough!), sunglasses, straw bag and that nice white dress that goes really well with your suntan. It tastes of sea and distant, exotic places; of tempting, delicious strawberry and chocolate ice cream; of freshly made espresso coffee. It has got the perfume and freedom of summer; the subtle scent of a bougainvillea perched on a white wall; the sound of the waves breaking onto the shore, mingling with the sweet and gentle breeze; the dazzling colours of a sunset enjoyed seating at a table on the beach, sipping a fruity aperitivo; the warmth of the sun beams caressing your skin; the euphoria of a trip on a Vespa on the cobbled streets.
You can travel to some picturesque island with a distinctly Mediterranean feel and laid-back atmosphere, to a stunning and exclusive hideaway in the Maldives, to an uncontaminated, secluded piece of land in the Pacific Ocean enjoying the marvels of nature and crystalline waters, to the most beautiful palm fringed beaches in the Caribbean…No matter how far you will go as long as you have your Chilli Chic with you! You don’t need anything else, I promise…except someone who can help you carry your suitcase perhaps!
